Appointment to lead strategic land growth

Phoenix Sustainable Investments is pleased to announce the appointment of David Morris as Strategic Land Director at Larkfleet Group, part of the Phoenix family.

David has been with the business for the past year, focused on energy and renewable energy developments. However, with continued uncertainty around grid reform, both David and the leadership team agreed that his expertise would be best utilised in leading the expansion of Phoenix’s land pipeline.

Working alongside our experienced team, including Daryl Kirkland, Sean Wilson, Adam Reed and others, David will help drive forward our land-led growth plans across the East Midlands and East Anglia, with a view to commencing the delivery of new homes in 2026.

Phoenix controls a significant land bank and has several Option and Promotion Agreements already exchanged or in negotiation. From 2026, we will begin construction on multiple sites, including major residential and commercial developments.

Key projects currently being promoted by the Phoenix Development Team include the Sibson Garden Community and the Beccles urban extension, along with planning submissions at Glinton and early-stage proposals at Holt, Norfolk. All schemes reflect our commitment to delivering sustainable homes that exceed Future Homes Standards and prioritise biodiversity net gain, creating attractive and enduring communities.

As we continue to grow, our focus remains on identifying strategic sites near sustainable settlements, particularly where housing need is acute and working closely with landowners, local communities, and planning authorities to deliver smart, positive outcomes.
