Larkfleet Group sells housing business

After months of negotiations, The Larkfleet Group has sold the home building interests of the business – Allison Homes and Larkfleet Homes to Californian based investment firm Pimco.


The Group has sold Larkfleet Homes, Larkfleet Homes N+S, Larkfleet Homes SW and Allison Homes but retains the Research and Development and sustainability interests: Solar Steam, Elevating House, X House and Smart Homes.


The Larkfleet Group of Companies has established itself over the last twenty years as a significant regional homebuilder and key contributor to local economies. The last financial year the Group delivered over £80 million of economic benefit to the local community, including almost £25m spent on suppliers creating over 1,500 local jobs.


As a family run business Karl and Helen Hick delivered award winning homes creating a platform for significant growth, which will now continue under the names of Larkfleet Homes and Allison Homes.


Larkfleet Group will continue to operate from it’s head office in Bourne and the new structure will see a strategic direction into sustainable climate change, including property and will continue its Research and Development projects in exciting technologies including work with Allison Homes on a number of its larger sites.
