We are delighted to share that Phoenix Sustainable Investments has been announced as a finalist in the 2025 Huntingdonshire Business Awards in the category of ‘Business Innovation’.

Being shortlisted for the Business Innovation award is a testament to our vision of being at the forefront of building a sustainable tomorrow. The award recognises businesses that have made remarkable progress in their field, through the development of innovative new products, the introduction of groundbreaking processes, or systems to enhance existing businesses. As an award-winning developer of sustainable development projects, we strategically invest in the future of house building, energy, waste and more, by partnering with companies, start-ups, and pioneering products.

The Business Innovation award recognised the significant achievements of four companies that Phoenix Sustainable Investments has supported to bring their revolutionary ideas to fruition:

Syntech Biofuel is pioneering an advanced sustainable biofuel (ASB), producing the most sustainable fuel made in the UK today. Syntech ASB is entirely 'Made in Britain' from sourced feedstock to final product, eliminating international miles associated with alternatives.

Flood Technology Group is addressing the escalating risk of flooding in the UK, by innovating the multi-purpose Flood Adaptive Platform (FAP). This unique mechanical jack system detects and reacts to flood conditions, automatically elevating structures above rising water.

Upfront Diagnostics is revolutionising stroke diagnosis with LVOne, a proprietary rapid finger-prick blood test that can diagnose Large Vessel Occlusion (LVO) strokes in 15 minutes. This innovative test has the potential to democratise access to early diagnosis and treatment, dramatically improving stroke management and patient outcomes.

SuSy House is tackling the domestic retrofit crisis, with their app that connects homeowners with publicly available energy data about their homes and suggest relevant green upgrades and retrofit options to make improvements and savings. Their solutions significantly reduce CO2 emissions and drive down energy costs for homeowners and tenants.

The Grand Final will take place on Monday, the 20th October 2025.
