Phoenix Sustainable Investments has once again shown its commitment to the local community with a £500 donation to Bourne Foodbank, continuing a tradition of support that has spanned several years.

Based in Bourne, Phoenix recognises the vital role the Foodbank plays in supporting individuals and families in need, particularly during the winter and Christmas period. Alongside providing essential food supplies, Bourne Foodbank also helps ensure children receive gifts at Christmas who might otherwise go without.

The cheque was presented on Wednesday 10th December by Phoenix Sustainable Investments Chairman Karl Hick and HR Director Helen Hick, and gratefully received by Foodbank volunteer Marcelle Cowley.

Karl and Helen Hick commented:

“We understand how important donations like this are, especially given the current climate. Supporting our local community is something we care deeply about, and we know how much of a difference it can make to those most in need.”

Marcelle Cowley of Bourne Foodbank expressed her thanks, saying:

“We’re extremely grateful for Phoenix’s continued generosity. Donations like this help us support individuals and families at a time when demand is especially high.”

Phoenix Sustainable Investments continues to support local causes alongside its work in sustainable development and innovation, reinforcing its commitment to making a positive impact both locally and beyond.
