This July, Phoenix Sustainable Investments is delighted to welcome Aaron Hick for a week-long work placement designed to give him first-hand insight into the workings of a modern, purpose-driven business. Based in London, Aaron will be spending time across several departments, including Finance and Land to gain a broader understanding of how the company operates day to day.
As well as experiencing a change of scenery, the placement will offer Aaron valuable exposure to a real-world working environment an experience that will hopefully help inform his future career decisions.
The opportunity forms part of Phoenix’s wider commitment to supporting and educating the next generation. By opening its doors to young people like Aaron, the company aims to bridge the gap between education and the workplace – encouraging curiosity, ambition, and long-term thinking.
Chairman of Phoenix Sustainable Investments, Karl Hick, said.
“We’re always keen to open our doors to young people who want to learn and grow. It’s important that businesses take the time to inspire the next generation – after all, they are the future leaders of sustainable change.”
Phoenix wishes Aaron a rewarding and inspiring week and hopes this experience is the start of a long and successful journey.
